Andre’s Side of the Story
This is more than a romance novel; it is a family novel. I especially like how the book weaves together the excitement of an FBI agent's professional life with his introspection on his personal life--and how the conflicts between the two are resolved. The family scenes are particularly moving. It also impressed me how well-structured the book is. Beyond the technical merits, there was a heartwarming tone of humanity and hopefulness throughout the story. That is what will stay with me the longest.

A strong man with a heart, excitement and romance. For all us readers that long for their own hero with a heart that fills the role of savior and seducer, this is the book for you. This book is for sure more about love than sex so for anyone that's tired of all the vivid humping and sweating this is a good book to read. There are love scenes but they are more vaguely mentioned than actually described. I really enjoyed getting to follow along Andre and Cheryl's journey into curiosity, love and honesty.

With her book "Andre's Side of the Story", Toby brings to life a story full of joy, tears, drama and laughter. She has the incredible gift of describing characters, environments and feelings with so much detail that the readers can immediately connect with them in their imagination. I really enjoyed reading Andre's story and couldn't wait to find out what the next chapter of the book - or of his life - might be. Toby's book is full of surprises till the very end

Cheryl’s Side of the Story
Toby Joyce has a way of making characters come to life so well, I could see them as I was reading. I enjoyed every minute of Cheryl’s life journey as she comes to terms with who she is, and reclaims her happiness.
This book is advertised as a 'sequel' to her first book, 'Andre's Side of the Story,' but it's not. This book stands alone.
You don't have to read the first book to understand or enjoy this one, but as a fan of this author, I can say that the first book is as good as this one! Enjoy 🙂

They say you should write about what you know. It's obvious that Toby loves Southern California, and spends a lot of time enjoying all it has to offer. This is my favorite book from this new author. I loved the characters, and the story that moves effortlessly from start to finish. This book makes me want to visit all the towns she so vividly describes. I look forward to her next offering!!

I found it very easy reading! It was kept simple with not too many characters. It was quite romantic, with implicit sexual references! The author seems to know her subject matter, and does her research well. Lovely happy reading, could not put it down!

The Blue Moon Rising
I don't know about you, but the daily carnage on the news has sickened me to the point that I long to escape to a simpler time when civility reigned: peopled dressed up for dinner and men held the door open for ladies. "The Blue Moon Rising" is that kind of book. There's no violence; no one gets their head blown off. The language isn't something you need to hide from your children. Rather it's an oasis from the violence that only seems to be getting worse. If, like me, you can use an emotional vacation from it all, read this book. It's like a nice big hug from an old friend - and isn't that something we all need from time to time?
